Most every night I bring a little sweet treat to bed. Most every night, my cat tries to steal it. I had just given her the demanded nightly pets, and as I turned my attention to my phone, she turned her attention to my lamp table. I thought she was just curious, and her glowing position in front of the lamp prompted me to snap a photo. It wasn’t until the moment after that I realized I was the fool, and she was freely licking my chocolate chip cookie. Well played, cat, well played.
