When I spent a sunny day at Astoria, my husband attempted to teach me how to skim board. Feeling the board slide out from underneath me each attempt, I decided I was more comfortable behind the camera. That’s how I captured this golden little moment, water droplets flinging from his footsteps, a dog running in the distance. I’ll always be entranced with the way light and water play together, and this moment shows it beautifully.
